Arlington, Virginia

RBA was awarded the contract to relocate the contents from the historic Robert E. Lee House overlooking Arlington National Cemetery. The contract was a public tender based on specifications prepared by the National Park Service. The winning bid was selected through a combination of price, credentials, and references.

Contents from the house, including mirrors, paintings, and period furnishings were removed from the premises and put into storage at a temporary location while the house is being refurbished.

The photo at left illustrates the scissor lift used to take some of the furnishings out the window because they were too big to be carried down the narrow stairwell.
